Shree Sai Satyanarayana Puja or Satyanarayan Vrat is a very popular ritual in many parts of India including Telangana, Gujarat, Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Maharashtra. In Maharashtra, Satyanarayan Puja is not done on Pournami, Ekadashi or Chaturthi. In West Bengal, people perform this puja before house warming ceremony.
